About Our Short Sleeve Camp Shirt
A carefree tall mens shirt for laidback days. This shirt from our LongJohn & Sons brand pays homage to the workers of generations past. The style was inspired by the Cuban guayabera shirt that Cuban men wore to stay cool while working in the humid Caribbean weather. After the Cuban Revolution, the camp shirt made its way to Miami and New York in the 1950s and took off after it was worn by Sean Connerys 007 in Thunderball. We crafted this shirt for tall men between 63 and 71 and made it as durable as it is comfortable. It offers a more casual spin on the classic button-up shirt with a relaxed camp collar, a straight shirttail hem with side vents and double chest pockets. We sourced a cotton and viscose blend thats breathable and has been pre-washed and shrinkage controlled for ease of care. Wear it with a pair of shorts or jeans on hot summer days or on your next tropical vacation.
